We first opened our doors in 2014 as Your Wedding Shop. Ten years later, it was time for a new chapter - and Senti Bridal was born.
After getting married herself, our owner Shel realised that bridal shopping didn’t always feel as special as it should. The pressure, the price tags and the lack of genuine choice for curvier brides left her thinking, surely there’s a better way to do this? Already working in bridal, Shel knew exactly what she wanted Senti to be: a bridal shop that puts the bride first. Somewhere you’ll feel listened to, looked after and completely comfortable being yourself - with beautiful dresses, honest advice, sensible prices and absolutely no pressure.
And that’s still what Senti is all about today.
We’ll listen, guide you when you need us, hype you up when you find the one and make sure you actually enjoy the experience along the way. Because being trusted with such a special part of your wedding story is something we’ll never take for granted.
Yes, we’re obsessed with beautiful wedding dresses (and we have over 600 of them!), but Senti has always been about something more. It’s about how you feel when you find yours.
And that’s where the name Senti — short for Sentimental — really says it all.

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve imagined the moment you find your wedding dress. Maybe for years. Maybe only since someone put a ring on your finger! Either way, suddenly it’s real… you’re getting married, and you need to find the dress you’ll wear when you do. That’s so special.
But I also know it can bring up feelings you weren’t expecting. Excitement, nerves, worries about your body, your budget, whether you’ll find the one - even wondering if you’ll look how you’ve always hoped you would. I know, because I’ve been the bride standing in that fitting room too. And that experience is a huge part of why I created Senti.
When you walk through our doors, I don’t want you worrying about whether you’re the right size, have the right budget or know the right bridal terminology. You don’t need to impress us. You don’t need to change for the dress. And you definitely don’t need to apologise for your body or who you are. Just come as you are.
We’ll listen to you. We’ll laugh with you. We’ll gently push you outside your comfort zone when we think we’ve spotted something special, and we’ll be completely honest when something isn’t quite right. There’s no pressure to cry, no pressure to say yes and no expectation that you should know exactly what you’re looking for.
Because when we find your dress, I don’t want you looking in the mirror and seeing everything you’d like to change.
I want you to see yourself as the bride you are about to become.
Confident. Beautiful. Completely you.
And if we get the goosebumps, happy tears and “Oh my God… this is actually my dress” moment along the way, well, those are the moments we live for. You only get to do this part of your story once, and it would mean the world to me and my team to be a little part of it.
